Drama in Kagadi as LCV Nup candidate Anna grabbed off signatory documents

By:Admin Kagadi Today drama rocked Kagadi town council as nomination Papers for the Kagadi district LC5 chairperson aspirant on National Unity Platform NUP (People Power) ticket were grabbed off as her team was busy scanning and printing out copies. This unpaid drama transpired today afternoon at Apex stationery and Media center along Obama Street in Kagadi town council when Hon. Nasaka was compiling papers amidst the struggle to beat the EC nomination deadline. In an exclusive interview with journalists shortly after the incident, Nasaka said a man identified as Mr. Peter Bajungu stormed the premises of Apex stationery, grabbed some of her nomination papers with names of signatories that were placed on the table and ran into a car registration number UAZ 084U, VITZ type. The Kagadi district NUP mobilizer Mr. Martin Orishaba Kanyansi said he was forced to run after the car while making alarm until he forced himself inside the vehicle at the driver's seat threatening to cause an accident if doesn't stop. The car that stopped at Kabalega road near Stella Maris Primary school was being driven by a woman identified as Ainembabazi Brenda the Nyakarongo Parish chief. Meanwhile eye witnesses and the Kagadi District NUP chairperson Mr.Asingwire Brian condemned the act towards their Candidate stressing that it was a planned move by opponents to frustrate her. By press time National unity Platform leaders for Kagadi district were gathered at Kagadi police station filing a report, as the alleged Car of Ainembabazi Brenda was also already impounded parked at Police. Meanwhile after going through all these hardships Hon. Nasaka Anna was finally nominated to compete with NRMs Ndibwami B. Yosia and Steven Byaruhanga Mfashingabo standing on independent ticket.
