 915 People Tested Covid-19 Negative In Kikube District Says DHO  Nicholas Kwikiriza
915 people have tested covid-19 negative following the pandemic world wide in Kikube District says the District health officer Dr.Nicholas Kwikiriza.
While in a radio talk show held at KBS radio 93.0 FM in kagadi district Bunyoro region Midwestern Uganda on Friday 26th in afternoon,  the DHO kikube district Dr.Nicholas Kwikiriza narrates that as the district  they have so far tested 915 people suspecting to have contradicted with the virus but found when they are negative.
The DHO said that they received alert from the public that some people are being suspected of covid -19 in different parts of the district due to some signs and symptom on them.
He said that every health center in kikube district has surveillance team and Village health teams who are trained and gives a report to the district task force over this pandemic.
He has further narrates that as the district are putting preventive measures to avoid the virus.
The District health educator Kababwijwa has testified that they use musician through sensitive songs of covid-19 to spread the message to the public and bring awareness and using special words like leave a distance (TONSEMBERERA).
Muhwezi Esaho the health worker at medical teams international has explained the misconception people do have about Covid-19: that’s to say Mosquitoes transmit corona, Africans have strong immunity against corona virus, Washing their hands with alcohol or drinking. He adds that they are more effects of covid-19 in Uganda and have left people disorganized: Domestic violence, stress among the community members and many more.
Security is going to enforce with al powers so as to keep Ugandans safe.
 KAGADI TV UG has learnt that  Medical teams international is a religious founded NGO with the aim of helping all people in Uganda and other countries globally. Currently it is working in kyangwali settlement camp with a purpose of helping the refugees.
