He is born in mid western Uganda in the district of Kagadi.
Although in 1980's the media in Uganda had not yet developed, he grew up yarning to become a media practitioner. One moment he remembered when her mother asked him a question “what would want to become in future?” here he replied ‘I want to be journalist and I admire news anchors.

While at kagadi primary school, he held a number of responsibilities like he was once elected the head boy of the school.

Just after he joined secondary education, the ambition of joining the media industry intensified. He made several inquiries with his teachers on what is required to study journalism. He teachers advised to master the English language. He was active in all school activities. While in senior three, He became the chairpeson-debating club. By so doing that, he was building management and leadership skills. In high school, he studied literature in English alongside other subjects. And was elected language prefect of the school.
MUSANA AT PARLIAMENT

In his senior four vacations (2001) God blessed him; the area where he was leaving started a community radio station (Kagadi kibaale community Radio) under URDT. Applications were invited from dedicated people who were to be trained on job. He consequently got the job. He went through vigorous training by the Eco - News Africa a media company from South Africa.

Little did he knew he end up joining Uganda Christian university to peruse a degree in Mass Communication.  While At UCU, he was recommended to be a student leader of all students from mid western region. But his ambition was to become a Journalist. At the University he specialized in print other than public relations or broadcasting.

While at kagadi kibaale community radio, he demonstrated the highest he could deliver. Management was pleased about the results. From there, he began as a radio presenter, producer, and advanced to the head of programmes at the said radio.

His experience in News writing, reporting, and producing programs and management, from kagadi Kibaale community radio have always stayed with him amidst other duties. The issue of deadlines had not been a worry to him.

With all love of the journalism profession, he is currently engaged in training rural journalist in mid western who will also transform their communities here He started Paradigm Institute of Media and vocation studies in 2011 and a number of students have graduated in different courses i.e
certificates and diplomas in secretarial studies, accounting, art and craft, journalism, and motor vehicle mechanics and many more and are working with different organization. Uganda needs development journalism to transform and transcend colonial mistakes especially in Bunyoro.

 INTERESTS
He always wanted to use the power of the printed word to shape the morals of the society. Morality has never been relative. He cannot afford to miss to communicate the word of God using the power of the printed word.

He is also interested in issues that affect his contemporary society. National issues interest him so much that is to say, national election, parliament, politics, and religion. Other events that do not leave him behind curtains are the educational issues say cultural gala competitions, inter University academic debates and fellowships. Interests cut across many disciplines of life.

INTEGRATING CHRISTIANITY IN CURRENT AFFAIRS
It is his desire to explore the Biblical truth on the current challenges of man. It is widely known that everything can be subject to Biblical truth. He is a kind of a person who is always interested to subject all the mysteries to a test of a litmus paper called the Bible.

He do love the lord and serve him with all his heart and believes that this is the guiding principle in executing his work as a managing editor if all goes well.
Musana Eric Acaali MP Buyaga East

HIS OPINION ON ETHICS AND TELLING THE TRUTH

In his opinion, the truth should be said in its fullness.
Musana said that “The Bible guides us here that 'we should tell the truth and it will set us free, I do shun the practice of plagiarism of whatsoever form”.
If a newspaper is to be reputable, originality is a crucial point. He truly embraces the issue on media ethics. Truth telling is guided by facts. 'Truth without facts is futile'. I do cherish the principle of balance, of bribery, fairness, and taste in new paradigm of journalism
