The mother of
former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura has died at the age of
92.
A family member told KBS that
Catherine Tibemanya Mukarwamo passed away today morning. The cause of death has
yet to be revealed.
Hailing from Kisoro district in western Uganda, Mukarwano was the sister to the
late Justice Joseph Mulenga and also mother to KBS correspondent Dismus Buregyeya.
Tentative funeral arrangements indicate that she will be laid to rest on
Saturday.
