The Kagadi grade one magistrates’ court Kagadi district last evening convicted seven people on different charges which include attempted murder, procuring defilement, simple defilement and arson.
Court presided by the new chief magistrate from Kiboga magisterial area his worship George Obong heard that Sindika Enock aged 63yrs and Bwambale Augustine 57yrs convicted on charges of arson ,Natukunda Moris on simple defilement ,Papari Juliet Prudence on procuring defilement , Kasangaki Patrick,Twinomujuni Rogers and Kadiko did attempted murder
The magistrate issued the judgment relied on the evidence got from the state prosecutor, witnesses and among others.
Appearing before court all the convicts were proved guilty and their bails were cancelled and remanded to Kibaale government prison till 19/8/2020 and their sentence will also be pronounced on that day.
