Naziwa Margret’s defection to NRM has no effect-FDC chairperson Kagadi Benezel Akonyera

Mr Akonyera Benezeri aka Maizi the FDC party chairperson Kagadi district says Hon Naziwa Margret’s defection to NRM party has not affected them as FDC party because she has not been their member.

Mr. Benezeli says Mrs Naziwa had earlier crossed to Alliance for National Transformation in 2018 and later joined People power pressure group.

Hon. Naziwa the Kagadi district woman MP hopeful was part of the group of over 50 opposition supporters from Wakiso, Karamoja, Teso and Bundibugyo who crossed to NRM at the party headquarters in Kyadondo last evening.

Naziwa told our reporter that she was not forced, but   just returned to her might ruling NRM Party.

Meanwhile the NRM chairperson for Kagadi district Omukwenda Mulumba Ali has welcomed Naziwa Margrete Rujumba to the NRM party.
